CPX Piceance Holdings LLC (CPX) is a privately held natural resource development company with long-lived assets in the Piceance Basin, Denver-Julesburg (DJ) Basin and East Texas. CPX maintains a significant portfolio of non-operated oil & gas interests in the DJ and Powder River Basins. The Company is focused on its principal area of operations in the Piceance Basin and seeks to enhance the value of its existing asset base developing these positions through the drill bit, acquiring prospective bolt-on acreage at attractive valuations and improving infrastructure. CPX was formed in 2014 with an equity commitment through its financial partner, Houston based Post Oak Energy Capital.
